Role Overview

The Assistant Care Taker will work under the supervision of the Senior Care Taker or administration, assisting with a broad range of duties related to property maintenance and general custodial tasks. Key responsibilities include ensuring the safety and security of the premises, performing minor repairs, maintaining cleanliness across the compound and buildings, and managing the organization of school property.

Key Responsibilities

• Facility Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance and minor repair of the Academy’s buildings, infrastructure, and grounds.
• Cleanliness & Upkeep: Ensure the school premises, including classrooms, offices, and common areas, are clean and well-kept.
• Safety & Security: Assist in maintaining the safety and security of the school facilities and property.
• Logistical Support: Support the logistical needs of the administration, including setting up rooms for meetings or events.
• Inventory Management: Assist in keeping an inventory of cleaning supplies and basic maintenance tools.
• General Duties: Perform any other caretaking and maintenance duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Experience

• Primary or Secondary School Certificate; proven experience in caretaking, maintenance, or custodial work; physical fitness and reliability.
