Role Overview

The Artisan: Plumber will handle plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance of the university’s water systems and facilities, ensuring a safe and functional environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair water supply and drainage systems.
  • Install, test, and inspect plumbing and sanitation infrastructure.
  • Estimate materials and submit maintenance requests.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and plumbing codes.
  • Participate in routine and emergency maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

  • KCSE Certificate with a minimum of D (Plain).
  • Craft Certificate (GTT III) in Plumbing or related field.
  • Practical experience in plumbing maintenance.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Must meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
