Role Overview

The Anaesthetist will oversee all anaesthetic services during surgical procedures and ensure patient safety throughout perioperative and post-operative care.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer general, regional, or local anaesthesia as appropriate.
• Monitor patient vital signs during procedures and recovery.
• Manage pain relief and sedation before and after surgery.
• Support intensive care patients and emergency cases as required.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and uphold hospital standards.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff and collaborate in theatre management.

Qualifications & Experience

• MBChB or equivalent qualification.
• Postgraduate specialization in Anaesthesia.
• Valid registration and practicing license from KMPDC.
• Specialist Recognition Certificate.
• Experience in a reputable hospital or theatre environment.
